We are shaping up to have the busiest year yet! With many Baby Boomers nearing retirement age we are seeing more new clients than ever before. Please read below for some important updates and news about changes at Legacy!

 

If you have friends or family members reaching retirement age I encourage you to invite them to attend a seminar (see below for a link) or visit with our office for a one-on-one consultation. It can be confusing and frustrating to try and navigate Medicare alone and we're here to help!

A New Face at Legacy

Next time you're in please say "hi" to the newest member of our team. BreAnne Violet started with us in May and brings over 15 years insurance experience to Legacy. Bre loves to travel, bake and is a passionate animal lover and often has 1-2 fosters in her care. In addition to furry friends - she's had trout, quail, snakes, scorpions, hedgehogs, tarantulas and lizards of all kinds!

Bre's Fresh Summer Streusel Cake

Cake Ingredients             

2 C. + 2 Tsp Flour  

6 Tbsp Sugar  

2 Tsp Instant Yeast  

1/2 C. Warm Milk  

8 Tbsp Butter       

1 Egg 

1/4 Tsp Salt 

1 Tsp Almond Extract  

Streusel 

1 1/2 C. Flour                                        

1/2 C. Sugar

1 Tsp Vanilla 

10 Tbsp Butter

8 Tbsp Butter                            

 

Fresh Fruit

6-8 Sliced Peaches

1. Mix all of cake ingredients in stand mixer. Once incorporated, knead dough for 10 mins.

2. Press into greased 9x13 pan and let rise 30 minutes. 

3. With a fork, mix strudel ingredients together.

4. Lightly press fruit into dough and sprinkle streusel on top.

5. Bake for 25-30 minutes at 375F. Serve warm & enjoy!
